Why This House

Our Story

We are a San Francisco family, and bought our Glen Ellen Cottage many years ago to escape the summer fog when our children were young. For us, it is the perfect compromise between feeling away and in nature, but close to stores and things to do. You can drive to the coast or to San Francisco for the day easily. The house is meant for unwinding, but it is equipped for remote work, also.

Glen Ellen is beautiful year round and is a lovely spot to explore, with fine dining, great hiking, and impressive parks and wineries to visit.

Or explore Downtown Sonoma and then make a splash back home in the private pool.
